Barry Benedict Heart Surgery

Our secretary, Barry Benedict, was at Cleveland Clinic this weekend (10/4 and 10/5) for heart surgery to repair a problem with one of his valves. Thankfully, doctors decided that he did not require an open-heart procedure, and underwent a less invasive one. As of the writing of this, he made it through successfully and should be on his way home Tuesday 10/7.

Barry has been heavily involved in Alliance Hot Stove, Marlington baseball, and countless other sports organizations for decades. He is, absolutely and unquestionably, the man. We all love ya, Barry. Stay strong 💪.

UPDATE: Barry is back on his feet and doing well.
