May 3rd
Our G-League Player of the Week is Owen Crider who plays for Pole Barns Direct Twisters. His Coach, Dan Ranker says "Owen is one of those players that love to work. He has demonstrated his willingness to grow on his own working with trainers to become a quick rising pitcher. This week Owen received the opportunity to come in as a relief pitcher and proceeded to strike out 10 batters in a 3 1/3 innings. He earned the Game Ball for his dominating performance during his team's come from behind win."
Our I-League Player of the Week is Lucas Lynn who plays for the Alliance Rotary Raptors. His coach, Scott Haney had this to say: "Lucas has been putting his best foot forward since we have started! He has shown great commitment and effort into his new journey and made a great heads up play at 1st base in our last game recording a big out for us! Great attitude and a great teammate, we're very fortunate to have a player with his kind of character! "
Our H-League Player of the Week is Ryker Croteau who plays for Greener Grass Grizzles. His coach, Jordan Sipos shared that "Ryker is one of the youngest players on the team, but he plays with pure heart and determination every time he steps onto the field. At the plate, Ryker is unstoppable, in our most recent game, he went a perfect 4-for-4, driving in multiple runs to help lead his team to victory. Defensively, he shows great skill and awareness at every position he plays. Off the field, he is the perfect example of a team player, always cheering on his teammates."
